U.S. Army Huntsville Center Corps of Engineers, Emergency Boiler Replacement at the 374th Medical Group Building 1530, Scott AFB Clinic, Scott AFB, IL
KC provided a fast-track design for replacement of a high demand steam boiler system that failed. Design and construction were performed to minimize impact on the medical mission of the facility. KC employed high efficiency time and resource management strategies at program and project levels, including utilizing nights and weekends, to balance mission impact with project progression, ultimately delivering the project completion early. All work was completed in compliance with the AFMSA Health Faciliites Division quality standards and design principles. This project received an “Exceptional” CPARS rating.
